Who we are and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Pixel King Designs ("Pixel King Designs", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use Print A Page and our related websites and services (the "Service"). For the purposes of data protection laws such as the GDPR, we are the controller of the personal information described here. The exception is where we process information on behalf of a school or organization under a separate agreement; in that case, we act as its processor or service provider.
Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| License information | Your license key, the browser activation it is used on, your plan and its expiry date, and the email address you used at checkout. If you sign in with your email, we also keep that email address and when you last signed in, so we can send one-time codes and find your purchase. There are no passwords. | You and our payment processor |
| Billing information | Billing name and address, plan, transaction history and the last four digits of your card. Full card numbers are handled by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, and never stored by us. | You and our payment processor |
| Your Content | Designs, layouts, presets, uploaded logos and images, and spreadsheet data you import for batch generation. Your Content is stored only in your browser on your device. It is not uploaded to us. | You |
| Usage and device data | IP address, browser type and request logs, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the website. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies. | Automatically, by our hosting provider |
| Communications | Messages you send us, support requests and survey responses | You |
Spreadsheet data you import for batch generation, such as names or dates, may include personal information about other people. Please import only information you have the right to use. Imported spreadsheet data is processed only in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by us.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the Service, including checking and renewing your license key;
- to process payments, manage subscriptions, and send receipts, renewal reminders and price change notices;
- to respond to support requests and communicate with you about your purchase and changes to our terms;
- to understand how the Service is used so we can fix problems and improve features, using aggregated or de-identified data where practical;
- to detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents, and to enforce our Terms of Use;
- to comply with legal obligations; and
- with your consent, to send product news. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Your Content for advertising, and we do not use Your Content to train artificial intelligence models.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on these legal bases: contract, to provide the Service you request; legitimate interests, to secure and improve the Service and prevent abuse, balanced against your rights; legal obligation, for tax, accounting and legal requests; and consent, for marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep information
We keep license and purchase information for as long as your license is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or de-identify it, except where we must keep it longer. Examples include billing records kept for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years), proof of subscription consent kept as required by automatic-renewal laws, and information needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access, or receive a copy of, the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- port your information to another service;
- object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent; and
- appeal our decision on your request.
Your designs and settings are stored in your browser, and you can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. To make any other request, email [email protected]. We will verify your request using information associated with your purchase and respond within the time the law requires, typically 30 to 45 days. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Additional notice for U.S. state residents
This section supplements this policy for residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws. In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in section 2, namely identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, and approximate geolocation, for the business purposes described in section 3. We disclosed them to service providers for those purposes.
We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit. To make a request, email [email protected].
Children and students
The Service is designed for adults and teens. Children under 13 may not purchase a plan, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without the consent required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Teachers may use the Service to create materials for students, and they should avoid entering students' personal information unless their school has authorized it and the law allows it. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it. Schools that need a student data privacy agreement can contact [email protected].
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. These include encryption in transit (TLS), cryptographically signed license tokens and payment processing through a PCI-DSS compliant provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law. You can report a security concern to [email protected].
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and we process information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy mechanism.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.
